(March 24) In order to help students to gain more experience, build their confidence, develop their language and communication skills, involve themselves in real-life activities and develop their creativity, cooperation, mindset as well as their teamwork, the English Language Centre of our school has held the finals for the 2023 English Sketch Competition on the 24th of March 2023. The competition was divided into two categories: Junior division and Senior division. There were 5 classes from the Junior division that advanced to the finals, while 4 classes from the Senior division advanced to the finals.
Below are the classes that have won the competition.
Junior Division:
Champion: J3P1
First Runner-up: J2P1
Second Runner-up: J3U6
Consolation Prize: J2U3, J2U8
Best Actor: Sim Siew Ruu J2P1
Senior Division:
Champion: S3C3
First Runner-up: S2F
Second Runner-up: S1F
Consolation Prize: S2SC
Best Actor: Augustine Lim En Hao S2F
In this competition, each finalist has displayed their ability to act and convey a positive message through the wonderful show that they have put together. Their spectacular performance has managed to captivate the audience, and we believe that this competition will be an unforgettable memory for everyone.
Congratulations to all of the winners, and best wishes to all of the classes that did not make it to the finals. Do not get disheartened by a momentary loss, and always have a positive mindset to be determined, as it will eventually lead to success. Once again, we wish all the best to all the participants.
